'Oak House' completed in 2016 is a 2000sq feet 4 bedroom home constructed in the English Suffolk countryside. Oak is a common theme in the house from the bespoke ledged and braced doors to the collar ties in the vaulted garden room. The customer even comissioned a 'live edge' oak dining table. Underfloor heating runs throughout the ground floor with large bi folding doors opening to the rear garden.
Creeksea Church new hall extension. The existing church had no toilet facilities. The extension was designed to provide additional meeting space, a kitchen and toilets. Construction included piled foundations and concrete ground beams. Steel framed construction finished externally with low level brickwork, oak cladding and clay tiled roof.
The 'Old House' dating back circa 500 years had a rather small kitchen for a growing family. A small side extension to the ground and first floor allowed enough expansion to create good living spaces. The new bespoke Humphrey Munson kitchen fitted beautifuly around the existing AGA. Underfloor heating provided a warm feel to the Travertine floor. Existing exposed brickwork provided texture and a nod to the buildings past. A corner built in bench seat created a practical seating area and useful storage.
The extension at Creeksea Church required a link to the existing church building. An opening was formed through the 3' thick stone wall. New stone quoins framed and supported the existing stone wall and oak doors finished the new entrance.
Epping Methodist Church required improved access to their church. Previously the only way to gain entry to the church was via a steep set of steps to the front of the building. The new design included an access ramp as well as steps. This was a very challenging project as the work area was very limited.
This master bathroom remodel was recently completed near Lake Sammamish in Seattle. The work included removal and total reconfiguration of the existing bathroom walls, master bed area and walk in closet. Installation of underfloor heating, wall hung cabinets with granite countertops, whirlpool tub, steam shower with feature LED lighting, sound system and frameless glass screen.
